Now That "that's" out of the way...


I feel like I can really start blogging. I read somewhere recently that blogging is becoming old school, a thing of the past and if you want to really be "in" with the times, you should be a vlogger. Well, I'm really not ready to expose myself figuratively *cringe* to the likes of YouTube and what not, my feelings are still a little juvenile and those thumbs down/mean intended to hurt my poor sensitive feelings :D comments might just be too much for this girl. So, I'll start here and who knows, maybe someday you will see me doing a video blog. It might make reading this a more fun experience as I do use strange accents and voices when I talk (to myself...)

Something that I'm trying again, although with a little more intensity this time is Green Smoothies. To be honest, I've only been doing them for about 4 days now and I'm on day 6 I do believe of practicing vegetarianism. But back to the smoothies: today was the first day that my smoothie was actually green, a vibrant cartoon lawn green. It's not half bad really, I put enough fruit in it to feed a small tribe of black spider monkeys, so that took care of the slightly bitter taste that kale and spinach can leave in a smoothie. And despite a few mishaps with peanut brittle (wicked awful for your teeth) and peanut M & M's, the scale has been very kind to me as I'm down almost 4 pounds since starting this way of eating err drinking?

  4. Hey you :D (April) so glad to see you. No tricks cause Lord knows I fall off the frackin wagon so often but I will say this. Eating vegetarian has helped my stomach feel so much better and doing the green smoothies makes me feel good, alert and like I might be on the right track finally. How are you doing? I miss you!

  5. I am pretty good! Busy with the kids and all their activities and Joe and all of his activities. Haha! Quinten is running in the Little Rock Marathon this weekend and we have been getting ready for that forever. How are you? I miss you too and have worried about you often.
